Emily Saberi
Emily's interest in music goes back to her childhood when she began taking piano lesson at the age of 11, and ultimately became a passion for classical and jazz music. Emily's career of playing and teaching piano as well as singing professionally follows her Bachelor of Music from California State University at Northridge and subsequent mentorship and studies with jazz greats such as Tamir Hendelman, Josh Nelson, Michael Ragonese, Jane Monheit, Sara Gazarek, Glenn Zaleski, and Richard Khan. She has played with various ensembles at local venues and concert halls, as well as fairs, festivals, school assemblies, and special events.

Her greatest joy, however, comes from teaching piano and watching her students' growth in their skill and confidence while learning piano. Emily emphasizes foundational piano techniques along with general musicianship while teaching piano and of course, having fun! Her teaching style incorporates general musical concepts, encouraging creativity and imagination with her students. Emily's greatest joy is to pass along the same passion she feels for piano and music to her students.
